 This image of a full moon with bare tree branches in front of it, giving the impression the moon had a large crack in it, featured a lot during the production of the book didn't make it into the book itself, appearing instead in promotional material for the first edition.
 This is another image - 'Grandmother's House' - that didn't make it into the book.
 The Scary Doll image was edited by Alec Beattie and featured in the story A Proper Mother by Rachael Fulton.
 This untitled image is by Norah Smyth who wrote the story The Stillness Continued.

 This image, Trees, also featured a lot in promotional materials but didn't make it into the book.
 The ubiquitous Teacake, which, for obvious reasons of copyright, didn't make it to the book despite its popularity.
 The Full Moon image again, this time in one of several mock-ups for the front cover. The final front cover design
featured the Eclipse image.
 Duality 2 has 'colours' as its theme, as the numeral 2 here shows, using the three primary colours. The illustrations
moved away from the strict black/white format into colour too.
